Greater Anglia runs all services out of London Liverpool Street to Essex, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Norfolk, plus the rural Norfolk and Suffolk lines. It passed from Abellio to DfT Operator on 12 October 2025, keeping its name, and will be absorbed into Great British Railways.
The fleet was completely renewed between 2019 and 2022 with Stadler Class 745 and 755 units, so the Bittern, Wherry and East Suffolk lines are worked by modern bi-mode Class 755 trains with level boarding and large windows.
The Anglia Plus One Day Ranger and Three Days in Seven Flexi Rover give unlimited off-peak travel across Norfolk, Suffolk and north Essex; up to four accompanied children pay a flat £2 each.
