Locomotive Services Limited is the licensed train operating company owned by Jeremy Hosking. It took over the former Crewe Diesel depot as a maintenance and overhaul base under the Icons of Steam banner and ran its first main line tour in March 2018. The group also has a facility at Southall in west London and the One:One Collection museum at Margate.

The company owns or maintains one of the largest heritage fleets in the country: around twenty steam locomotives including 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley, 6024 King Edward I, 70000 Britannia and 61306 Mayflower; diesels from Classes 20 to 57 and beyond; electrics of Classes 86, 87, 89 and 90; and the HST power cars used on the Midland Pullman.

Rather than selling most seats directly, Locomotive Services operates through consumer brands: Saphos Trains for steam day trips, Statesman Rail for Pullman-style land cruises, Midland Pullman for the blue HST, Intercity for value first-class diesel and electric tours, and Steam Dreams for London departures.
