A festive steam-hauled lunch circuit from London Victoria through Kent and beneath the White Cliffs at Dover.
The White Cliffs Christmas Lunch is a circular lunchtime trip from London Victoria, with a pick-up at Bromley South, in Steam Dreams' decorated vintage carriages. The route crosses the North Downs and the River Medway, runs along the North Kent coast towards Canterbury, then climbs the Kent Downs and descends to Dover, where the train runs beneath the White Cliffs beside the Channel before turning north through the heart of Kent.
Pullman guests are served Champagne and canapés followed by a multi-course festive lunch with wine. The train leaves Victoria at 11:00 and returns at about 16:35. Britannia 70000 is the rostered engine.
Steam Dreams does not publish which way the train runs along the Kent coast, so the White Cliffs could be on either side; ask when you book.
Sides are given facing the direction of travel. Miles are approximate from the start of the journey.
